Spec'd from a blank slate — riser, limbs, strings, rest, sight, stabilizers — matched to your draw, your terrain, and the animal you're after. Built, tuned, and dialed in before it ever leaves the shop.

03 — The Builder
Jake Bell — Owner / Founder
Jake Bell has spent over 15 years bow hunting across the US, and somewhere along the way, that passion turned into a career. When he's not in the field, he's usually still thinking about it — tuning bows, testing new setups, or growing his business. He's also an avid fly fisherman and a self-taught entrepreneur who built Acclimate Archery from the ground up.
Jake is known for his precision work — bow tuning and custom builds that are dialed in exactly to how you shoot. He's the guy people trust to get their setup right, whether that means fine-tuning before season or building something from scratch. Ask anyone who's worked with him and they'll tell you the same thing: he's sharp, easy to talk to, and genuinely wants to see you succeed out there.

Home base sits at 6,732 feet in Steamboat Springs — elk country. Every bow is built, tuned, and handed off right here at the shop — hunters and archers from across the Yampa Valley make the trip in.

Jake did an awesome job setting up my Mach 34, this thing shoots lights out. His attention to detail on arrow building is awesome. I'd highly recommend working with Acclimate Archery!
Jake does a great job at explaining everything. He's not only full of knowledge, he wants you to be a better archer. Arrow groups became much tighter and more consistent — took my first archery elk this year after visiting Jake. 10/10 recommend!
My bow sight became loose and my 3rd axis was messed up while hunting elk over-the-counter. Found him online and he fixed it, plus my cam timing, on short notice — from 10:30 to 11:30 at night. Amazing dude and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
